Position Summary

HUVRdata is looking for bright problem-solvers to join our team and help shape the future of industrial inspections and reporting. As a Product Manager you will be responsible for software product planning and execution, driving the processes and tooling that empowers our customers to manage their data on the HUVR platform. In addition to collaborating within the Product team, you will work closely with the Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal teams to plan software functionality that best addresses priority opportunities and obstacles, translating high-level roadmaps to clean UX and detailed user stories
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of well-defined requirements and outcomes
  • Participate in trade-off decisions between product scope, costs and timing, and be able to make hard decisions when required.
  • Actively lead through the product lifecycle, working directly with our software engineers to provide support and guidance ensure on-target delivery
  • Lead validation, testing, internal and external training, and release planning to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet market needs and achieve the goals of the company

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in software product management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability and ease pitching and evangelizing product needs, designs and implementation to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with web and mobile UX and software implementation 
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to balance concurrent and contending priorities
  • Experience and proficiency in researching market opportunities, customer needs, validating requirements and prioritizing based on value and strategy.
  • Experience with industrial assets or prior roles in the oil and gas, renewables, or manufacturing industries is a plus
