Wrapping Up 2024: The 12 Days of HUVR Holidays

2024 was a year to remember at HUVR: we released 17 builds with more than 70 features and improvements to our InspectFlow+ app, exhibited and spoke at six major events across 10 key tracks, and delivered unparalleled service to our customers with a smile. 

We gave our followers on social media and newsletter subscribers 12 Days of HUVR Holidays to unwrap at the end of this year. A key series highlighting some of the most popular activities and features of the year, the 2024 12 Days of HUVR Holidays was one to remember. For one final gift, we’ve wrapped each day detailing the incredible work we did this year in one post. 

Before we send off 2024 and start fresh in 2025, unwrap our highlight reel for a recap of the innovation and service we committed to this year. 

Day 1: Giving Back and Kicking Off 

HUVR kicked off 2024 with service – this time, not for our customers but for our community. Our team volunteered with Caritas of Austin’s Community Kitchen in January. Our dedication to top-tier service applies to any and all facts of our lives, and volunteering was no exception. Together, we served 248 meals to people experiencing homelessness in Austin, making 248 people’s days just a bit brighter.

Day 2: Digitizing UT Workflows

Ultrasonic testing (UT), one of the most common NDT inspections in the field and in HUVR, was a crucial function for our customers in 2024. We digitized numerous UT workflows with and for our clients. Enabled by our direct Bluetooth integration with UT data loggers, InspectFlow+ provides a seamless solution for technicians in the field that slashes inefficiencies and streamlines the process at scale.

Day 3: Electrifying Events

Our team hit the ground running in January at the API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity Summit, took flight at the Energy Drone and Robotics Coalition’s annual summit in June, and completed our event journey attending NISTM’s Aboveground Storage Tank Conference & Tradeshow in December. 

Our team was busy, to say the least, with electrifying events this year. We presented 10 key tracks across six major exhibiting events and 10 individual events in 2024. Whether set up at booths or walking the floor, we sparked inspiration and and shared innovation at each show and through each connection. 

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to bring even more to the table in 2025.

Day 4: Radiography QA/QC Excellence

Throughout the year, we gave our valued customers and subscribers a glimpse behind the curtain with our Workflows at Work blog series. One of our most popular knowledge shares was Workflows at Work: Radiography QA/QC, a blog unpacking how our radiography QA/QC workflows streamline x-ray file viewing and data storage. We demonstrated how usingHUVR for radiography QA/QC simplifies processes and makes teams more efficient in the longrun.

Day 5: Celebrating Our Partners

In 2024, HUVR delivered world-class solutions to our customers, in no small part thanks to the many partners we integrate and collaborated with this year. From robotics pioneers to digital experts and service partnerships, we were grateful to work with dozens of key groups to deliver excellence from end to end, each playing a key role in the process. 

Integrated hardware partners like Ghost Robotics collected data onsite with their groundbreaking technologies, the information immediately available in HUVR. 

Digital providers like AI/ML companies or digital twin technology providers like VEERUM made it possible to analyze and visualize data in a new way. Data from HUVR enhanced these models for deeper insights, and ensured that all the information could be accessed from one seamless hub. 

And of course, our service and advisory partners, like Harbison-Walker International, provided our customers with white-glove service through a streamlined HUVR solution. 

We appreciate each of our partners’ unique talents, and look forward to expanding our reach together in 2025. 

Day 6: Visualizing the Future

Speaking of partners, we gathered together with experts at VEERUM to provide insights about our joint 3D contextualization solution, 3DHUb, this year. Demonstrating three key workflows that we deploy on the ground together now at scale, our experts dove into how 3DHub is transforming the way reliability and maintenance work gets done in this short on-demand webinar.

Day 7: Enhanced Compliance in the Permian Basin
We powered asset management and compliance reporting for customers globally, keeping them ahead of regulations with centralized, standardized data tools. The Permian Basin, a hotbed for regulatory catastrophes, was no exception this year. 

We deliver a simple, seamless asset management and compliance tool that can enhance efficiency and transform compliance operations for even the most efficient of oil producers. Our use case, the All-in-One Solution Powering Compliance in the Permian Basin, shares the ins and outs of creating these efficiencies in real time. 

Day 8: Boosting UT Inspection Efficiency

UT was a crucial driver of our successes this year (sound familiar?). We helped organizations like yours increased inspection efficiency by up to 42% with our UT solution. But how does it work? Day 9: Local Project Search

InspectFlow+’s local project search capabilities unlocked new potential for technicians in the field. With local project search capabilities, teams search for projects by name and asset offline for quick results at their fingertips. It even works with workpacks, making efficient work planning and execution a breeze. 

Day 10: Pinned Media for Efficiency

Pinned media capabilities ensured inspectors could access crucial documentation with a single tap, improving workflows in potentially hazardous environments and earning technicians the esteemed title, “one-tap wonder.”

Day 11: Emergency Backup

Our emergency backup capabilities save your team’s data – and stress levels – by running in theb background, only to reveal itself when you need it most. Offline data never has to go missing because of a lost save file again. 

Day 12: UT Data Logger Integration

The year’s standout feature – stop me if you’ve heard this one before – was our Bluetooth-enabled UT data logger integration, which optimized data collection and inspection processes for unparalleled field efficiency. Seamless NDT workflows never looked so good!
